China National Heavy Duty Truck Group (CNHTC) is driving a new level of logistics and transportation with full-stack intelligence.

Jan 29, 2026

At the 2026 Partner Conference of China National Heavy Duty Truck Group (CNHTC), an industry-first scenario-based launch event unveiled the global debut of CNHTC’s intelligent service – “Xiao Zhong 1.0”! In the scenario, “Xiao Zhong” transformed into a smart assistant, effortlessly handling complex needs in simulated real-world transportation scenarios, intuitively showcasing its core capabilities of millisecond-level response and proactive service. This innovative launch format, integrating functionality into a scenario, allowed attendees to experience firsthand how intelligent technology transforms from a concept into a readily accessible and on-demand smart partner.

As the latest achievement of CNHTC’s digital intelligence R&D, “Xiao Zhong” intelligent service integrates cutting-edge AI large-scale model technology to build an intelligent ecosystem covering the entire vehicle lifecycle. It encompasses various areas such as smart vehicles, intelligent diagnosis and repair, operational efficiency enhancement, and personalized services. It can process complex customer needs in areas such as driving operation, maintenance inquiries, fault warnings, and behavioral analysis in milliseconds, injecting new momentum into the value of full-lifecycle services and marking a new stage in CNHTC’s intelligent service system.

The birth of “Xiaozhong 1.0” is underpinned by China National Heavy Duty Truck Group’s (CNHTC) profound and leading digital intelligence system capabilities. At the digital intelligence exhibition area of this conference, CNHTC showcased its panoramic digital intelligence capabilities, integrating R&D, manufacturing, supply, and service in a systematic and perceptible manner. In the digital supply chain demonstration area, CNHTC’s intelligent logistics cloud platform clearly presented an intelligent collaboration map—breaking down subsystem barriers horizontally and streamlining workflows vertically through the connection of operating equipment, achieving automated warehousing operations and intelligent management. In the digital manufacturing demonstration area, CNHTC explained the evolutionary path of “Internet of Things – Data Connection – Intelligent Connection,” promoting the deep integration of next-generation artificial intelligence and other digital intelligence technologies with the entire manufacturing process through digital, networked, and intelligent transformation, thereby achieving the comprehensive implementation of digital intelligent manufacturing.

If “Xiaozhong” and the digital intelligence platform constitute the intelligent brain of service and manufacturing, then advanced intelligent driving is CNHTC’s two legs for implementing intelligent technologies in complex operating environments. During the L2 intelligent assisted driving technology test drive event, guests gained a deep understanding of Sinotruk’s core strengths in the field of intelligent assisted driving for commercial vehicles through hands-on experience in two test drive modules: advanced and intermediate. The advanced test drive focused on intelligent handling capabilities in complex road conditions, from precise judgment when intelligently merging onto ramps to automatic obstacle avoidance in tunnels based on multi-sensor fusion. The system achieves millisecond-level environmental response through 360° perception coverage using LiDAR, millimeter-wave radar, and an 8-megapixel high-definition camera. The intermediate test drive directly addressed the core pain points of logistics transportation. The target entry and exit function uses beyond-line-of-sight perception technology to predict road conditions in advance, and combined with lane centering function, achieves stable driving, allowing even novice drivers to reach the level of professional drivers.

Beyond safety, efficiency improvement is the core value of the technology’s implementation. The “dual-driver to single-driver” mode supported by the L2 system can reduce annual labor costs per vehicle by 20%-50%, and combined with the 20% increase in vehicle utilization achieved by the intelligent dispatch system, it significantly increases the operational efficiency of logistics companies.

From its deeply service-oriented “small heavy-duty” trucks to its digital and intelligent system driving efficient internal collaboration, and then to its future-oriented intelligent driving technology, China National Heavy Duty Truck Group (CNHTC) has completed an integrated intelligent layout encompassing both internal and external aspects, culminating in its core product competitiveness. This is the solid foundation upon which its intelligent trucks have won over markets in more than 100 countries worldwide, with cumulative deliveries exceeding 10,000 units.

Starting with technology and committed to value, CNHTC’s development blueprint elevates intelligent technology far beyond simply piling up features. Instead, it involves reconstructing product value and user experience through advanced intelligent driving and a comprehensive data platform, transforming trucks from transportation tools into intelligent transport units. From this starting point, CNHTC will leverage its full-stack intelligent capabilities to drive logistics and transportation into a new era of intelligence.
